BODY WRAP
Our therapists will give you the best advice in order to choose your bespoke body wrap. Depending on the wrap you choose, in accordance to your specific needs, you will indulge in the pleasant sensation of a warm wellbeing.
Body wraps combine therapeutic masks with thermal coverings. The body mask will contain a mixture of ingredients designed to have a remedial effect on your skin, while the coverings will swathe and warm your body, promoting muscle relaxation, and sweating to cleanse your pores. After applying the mask to most of your body, your therapist will swaddle it in bandages and you will lay on a thermal bed for the rest of the treatment. The heat will relieve tired muscles, open your pores and encourage sweating for a detoxifying, relaxing and hydrating effect.
ANTI-AGE WRAP: Dog Rose, Bitter Orange, Camomile
This treatment combines the antioxidant power of Dog Rose, rich in vitamin C, with the regenerating properties of Bitter Orange and the soothing properties of Camomile leaving your skin more luminous and toned.
DRAINAGE WRAP: Birch, Elder Flowers and Calendula
Drainage, diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties of Birch are ideal for cellulite and water retention. Its action is boosted by Elder flowers and Calendula providing a rebalancing and soothing effect.
TONING/DECONTRACTING WRAP: Arnica, Devil’s Claw, Juniper
Arnica is an Alpine herb with powerful anti-inflammatory and painkilling effects, ideal to relieve muscular tension and joint aches, as well as bruises and ecchymosis. These properties are boosted by combining Juniper for its toning and anti-rheumy effect and Devil’s Claw roots as anti-inflammatory and painkiller.
DETOX WRAP: Nettle, Equisetum, Dandelion
The herbs chosen for this treatment all have diuretic properties which combine with the anti-inflammatory effect of Nettle, the astringent and mineralising effect of Equisetum and the detoxifying action of Dandelion.
